Live...He Will Come

"O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed."
-Psalm 34:3-5

As musicians and artist being in front of people becomes second nature. It doesn't matter if you are in front of 65,000 people singing the national anthem at a sporting event or with 20 of your family members during thanksgiving; something inside of us enjoys the fact that people find enjoyment or entertainment in watching us. We enjoy it so much because in all actuality in those moments we recieve praise...we are given a sense of worth...a placement of value. That is why I believe praise and worship is the deadliest drug for the worship leader. It was never intented to be ingested by us, but rather presented from us to the Father.

When we gather at Campus Harvest it is going to be amazing...the sound, the lights, the hundreds of screaming campus students. And there we will stand positioned to faithfully steward the responsibility that God has entrusted us with as worship leaders. We are to take these emotionally charged college students and lead them directly to the throne room of God to present their offerings along with ours. And all the while not looking for a "tip" for our efforts. The scripture says that "they looked to Him and were radiant...", not us. Our sole reward comes from the Lord; let us not so cheapen it buy skimming a little bit off the top from the congregation or looking to the front row for approval.

WELCOME CAMPUS HARVEST TEAM!!! Soon and very soon we are going to be in Raliegh/Durham, NC at Campus Harvest 2005 Praising our faces off. I am thrilled to hang out and worship with all of you this year. As many of you know from times past, Campus Harvest is truly a life changing experience. Not only has God consistently shown up through the powerful messages and mindblowing worship, but many have been saved, set free, and called into the fulltime ministry through campus harvest. My life was personally changed at Campus Harvest 2001, were I answer such a call.

So as we come into the conference this year, let's come full of expectation and anticipation. In the comment section of this site, share what it is that you are believing for individually and corporately this year at Campus Harvest. The purpose of this site is to unify us in faith and vision so please participate and let's watch God do miraculous things.
